I've worked with Don Griffin who's great and you learn a lot more then playing quarterback.

I also went to Darren Slack's camp and learned a lot.

Tommy Hodson lives in Baton Rouge.

Look him up.

ETA: He lives in Baton Rouge and is a co-owner of a company that sells transformers to Entergy and Cleco. Don't know the name of the company.

I have a young son who wants to play quarterback. Is there any one in the South Louisiana area that works with QB's. He goes to pitching coaches already, is there people that do the same with quareterback instruction?

If you have a hot daughter have her take him to the Manning Passing Academy. I'm sure she will be able to arrange something.

How old is he? Is he a passing QB or a Running QB? Spread or Pro-style?

All that matters.

Don Griffen is very good, offering small group sessions and individual sessions, with plenty of receivers to throw to. Go to him locally. Three QB's at least who were with him last year, as juniors and seniors in high school, are now scholarship NCAA athletes/commits.

For the summer, register for the QBR camp out of CA. They offer the camp in the summer at different locals, including AR and GA. Small group instruction from good High School and College coaches, with more reps than at any other camp. It blows the Manning Camp away, focusing on instruction, drills and reps, instead of celebrity. The camp is about 4 days long and reasonably priced. Lots of NFL and College QB's grew up at the QBR camps, run by Laird Hayes, NFL Referee #125...a really good guy.

If you go to Alabama, get to a Samford camp run by Pat Sullivan...very good camps.

In MS, Dan Mullen runs good camps at MS State too.

Go to the websites "Don Griffin," "QBR Camp" and the schools.

And don't forget to let your son play with sticks and rocks and toys too...and ride his bike and have free nights and weekends sometime...and golf and fish! Let him do what HE wants to do! Good luck!
