Herbstreit before JT13 injury

This is GameDay BEFORE Jordans injury.
For anyone who still believes Jordans injury is the reason FSU was left out.

It’s just an excuse to give bama another mulligan. The rest of their rankings not being consistent with their bullshite justification for the top 4 proves this. 3rd time this horseshite has happened for them.

This is the same conversation thats been going on for weeks on this board. Everyone(including the committee) just thought it would neatly work itself out.

It would’ve neatly worked itself out had the fricking committee had an ounce of integrity among all 13 of them.

I just want to to hear the committee admit if it was actually the injury or if none of it mattered and Bama was always in over an undefeated Florida State

Scenario 1:
Florida State with Travis wins game vs UF and Louisville by same margin - Out or In?

Scenario 2:
Florida State wins against Louisville with backup something like 28-7 - Out or In? What score would have been enough?

Scenario 3:
Everything exactly the same, same score win over Louisville except Louisville is ranked 7th or 8th instead of 15th (Alabama had a chance to play Georgia…what if it was Mizzou instead? FSU didn’t pick how strong/good Louisville would be yet it’s used against them)

Looking back now, the committee just took a chicken shite approach of singling out Travis when there was no way they were leaving Bama out anyway.

This is exactly it. They should all be embarrassed. The committee. Herbstreit. McElroy. All of them.

It did.

3 undefeated power 5 conference winners
Who is the best 1 loss power 5 conference winner?

Well would you look at that, as luck would have it, the two one loss conference winners played this season. How about we just insert the team that won that game?

I guess that makes too much sense.

Nov 18th Game Day?

FSU had just struggled to put away a Miami team playing a first time starter at QB while at home. Bama had beaten LSU two weeks prior.

Every single FSU fan I know was texting me that they were going to get waxed in the playoffs at multiple points this season--when they just couldn't put away Wake. When Miami took the lead. When they were down at the half in Gainesville. But when the talking heads have the same doubt? CONSPIRACY!!!

The Travis injury certainly didn't help the case.

All thats great and all, but the team still finished those games with more points then their opponents. In the swamp and at neutral site for LSU. No team this year smoked all their opponents none not one. "Thats why they play the game".

You can cherry pick what moments in certain games to fit your

Now do Bama against Texas, Auburn and USF.

Don't worry, we'll do what OSU hasn't in 3 tries for you.

The point is that the ESPN talking heads reacted to the same things we all saw. Silly to call that a conspiracy now. Maybe you didn't notice the thread topic.

Sure, just as soon as you show me the W on FSU's resume that is as good as Bama's W over uga.

I started the thread jakazz. Pushing a narrative and a conspiracy are two different things. I said push a narrative.

Wait, bama beating the #13 team at home by 14 is a good win? But beating #15 at a neutral site by 10 is horrific?

You're crying narrative because you want there to be conspiracy/controversy.

Talking heads give opinions. News at 11.

Did you just start watching college football? Every season is filled with constant speculation about who's better, who's overrated, who's underrated, which conference is better, who deserves the Heisman, etc.

I'm in my 40's & it's been this way my whole life.

You might be on to something if I had claimed that Bama's win over lsu got them in the playoffs.
