Chick Fil A is the best run business in these United States. Purdue is the Church’s of Big Ten football programs

He will have to pay $5000 for the title of operator. Some CFAs pull in 300k per year. He made the right decision.

Smart move, definitely more stability doing this than being a football coach at a shitty program where you could get fired at any given moment. He will probably get to spend more time with his family as well. Dream on

Dude it's a special teams coach...

....at PURDUE.

That's like being an assistant hitting coach at Kentucky.

Opening a chicken fil-a is a perfectly good option for you.

I thought you had to work for Chick Fil A for a long time before you were able to acquire a franchise. Either way that's not a bad move for the guy. Probably less stress, more time at home, and will still make good money.

Google says he was making $500k.

That can't be right, right?

I figured the special teams coach at Purdue doubled as an intro to college professor and made about $20k for his time with the team.

I read up on the process. They like for you to, but not a requirement. They are looking for certain personalities to run their stores. You never own it though. And if you harm yojr family in any way, they cut you loose.

500K is almost certainly too much, but he's a full time assistant at a D1 P5 school. You're talking about that job like he's the equipment manager at a Division 3 school. It's a pretty good gig with opportunities for upward mobility.

I might just be naive to special teams coaches. Especially at horrible football schools.

Alabama's special teams coach has zero opportunities for upward mobility, id have to assume.
