Yet mouth breathing LSU fans rooted for Bama against Notre Dame and Texas, Auburn vs Oregon and FSU.
Not true, I was pulling for Texas, Oregon, FSU and Notre Dame(now that was tough).
I'm pulling for Clemson!!

How can you call Clemson MID MAJOR? THEY are very relevant and have been for years.
GEAUX CLEMSON TIGERS, GEAUX.
GEAUX CLEMSON TIGERS, GEAUX.

. But until then, YOU were a mouth-breather if you didn't understand the importance of conference strength.
Nah, you are a "mouth breather" if you think conference strength swings on who wins the NC. SOS is based on the current season, not the previous one. LSU's SOS would have been the EXACT same in 2007 if Ohio State or USC or someone other than Florida had won the title in 2006. That we needed other teams in the conference to win to help us is amyth that has you noted bit LSU in the arse.

hate both. Living 45 minutes away from Clemson makes it tough to pull for them. Most arrogant mid major level team fans you'd ever meet. They honestly believe their program as a whole is in a different league than LSU.
So true, I've also lived and worked with their fans and they are more delusional with less to show for it than any fan base I have encountered.
Can they both lose??

I'm pulling for BAMA.
I respect how they continually reload. This is the third straight year with a different QB and are competing for a National Title.
The excuses just aren't there. Their coordinators are on the field enthusiastically coaching their guys -- and Saban knows how to work everyone -- including the refs.
If anything, they are model to replicate -- not despise.
Know thy enemy -- respect thy enemy.

It'll be a cold day in hell before I root for Alabama. Absolutely rooting for Clemson

I despise them anyway! To hell with Saban and Alabama! I hope Clemson wins by double digits.
Go Clemson Tigers!!!
Go Clemson Tigers!!!

Our perceived SoS has a lot to do with how the conference is perceived as a whole SEC West teams (even good ones) rack up losses so there was some truth to needing some losses to be forgiven. For example, a 1 loss SEC team having lost 1 game in the SEC west would generally get the nod over any other team. If our conference was not perceived as the strongest in the land it would impact the SoS numbers because the teams we play would never be assumed to be as strong. Its a direct correlation like it or not...
That said, frick Bama.

well everyone is trying to sign the best high school recruits in the country. It's not like it's some big complicated secret. Other than that, there really is nothing to replicate that every other coach isn't already doing. There are many coaches who could have won as many or more NC's with the players he has to work with. I don't have any special respect for Bama or Saben other than respect for his great recruiting salesmanship. Not to diminish the skills of a great salesman.

I could care less about the baby tiger cubs. Frick bama dude watching them lose is a win in itself.

I dunno. Sounds a little too bitter with a dash of desperate.
I guess I'm pro-SEC and appreciate excellence.

Meh, I have the ability to appreciate what Saban and Bama are doing and have done without rooting for them to win.

Well -- If I think about it -- it comes down to the opponent. I just don't care for the fake Tigers.
Who would you pull for it were USCw vs BAMA?

Do not like either team. But something deep down is saying, "glasses, go with Bama, the SEC team, and bet the house." Just can't do it, just can not do it tonight.

USC, and I despise USC. I hate Oklahoma, OSU and ND, too. I cheered for all of them to beat Bama, even though I knew ND had no shot.
