I've never bought into the SEC brotherhood thing anyway. I rooted for Oregon when they played Auburn in 2010. Recruiting wars, et al. So, yes pulling for Clemson.

pulling for Bama. I always root for conference teams against OOC opponents

These fans are the worst.

Bama winning isn't materially going to adversely affect our program - recruits already clearly know what Bama is.

Although this may be true, it negatively affects your team on the recruits that are looking at you and Bama. "Do I want to go play for a school that just won the title or the school that won a belt buckle 15 days ago?"

And there's prestige factor with another SEC national champion.

You probably own championship gear from every conference school.

Conference loyalty - hard to believe this board is nearly unanimously opposite of that

My loyalty is to LSU and LSU only.

Week 7 of the BCS ranking, the week before the final ranking came out, accoring to collegefootballpoll.com\BCS

1 Missouri 11-1
2 West Virginia 10-1
3 Ohio State 11-1
4 Georgia 10-2
5 Kansas 11-1
6 Virginia Tech 10-2
7 LSU 10-2

Misouri and WVU lost. OSU moved to #1. We beat VaTech, but still jumped them, and Kansas? no? I'm happy we played in it and won, and fight with our fans that try to discredit it, but I feel playing in and winning the SEC had a lot to do with getting in.

eta: week 7 of BCS ranking.

Best case scenario:
Bama wins, Saban takes the Giants job and Dabo becomes next Alabama Head Coach.

don't have a dog in the fight. I just hope somebody wins by less than 3 or more than 30.

THIS is why I'll be pulling for the Gumps. Would like to see Saban out of college football.

Yeah, another log on your rival's fire helps you.

Do you have Stockholm syndrome?

Clemson is in no way, shape or form a top five program.

I hope they both lose, but I hope Alabama is embarrassed.

It did, in 2007. It's established now. No need to fuel your rival who is already running circles around you.

Bama, Ohio State, Florida State, Texas, Michigan, and USC can all make cases.

Clemson is far removed from this group.

Bama will probably roll the Tigers, but I'm pulling for goofy Dabo and his urnge tigers. I wish they'd embarrass the gumps.
The only team in the SEC I care about winning EVER, is the LSU TIGERS.

No matter what, I'll enjoy the game, and this stupid arse sig is coming off my profile TODAY!
