Why? It makes our bad losses to them look even worse.
I'd rather all SEC teams be the top 14 teams in the country. We beat up on each other in-conference, but I want all SEC teams to dominate OOC.
Really have trouble seeing how people object to this. Must be a whole lot of Bama-envy out there.

Go ahead and pull for bama, but if you don't see how another trophy in the case or a western division foe hurts us, I don't know what to tell you.

So, Bama pulls another #1 composite recruiting class, that's what 6 in a row, 7? They signed a top OT from California and have the #2 player and top RB for 2017, also from California committed for next year. Of their 23 commits only 6 are from Alabama. Now it seems obvious to me that at least part of the reason they are able to score these great classes is because they have won 4 of the last 7 National titles.
So, again I ask why it is good for LSU to pull for the SEC again? Please explain how if Clemson had beaten them that LSU would not have make the 2016 playoff because the committee would suddenly start viewing the SEC as the SunBelt.
