Would you believe the NHL used to have a two line pass rule too?

In soccer it makes more sense, it’s just hard to explain and soccer decides to hamstring itself by not making the damned refs electronic.

Most soccer fans would agree with you. Nobody likes to end a game on pens.

They used to just end it in a tie and replay the game. They stopped that after a few matchups reached double digit replays.

Soccer does have electronic refs for offsides now. (Or at least electronic reviews that are super accurate)

Icing sucks. Bc I’d always get called for icing in NHL ‘94 and still don’t know why
