Herschel Walker needs to be in the HOF also.
It is not the NFL it is the Pro HoF.

I was never going to because imo Warner doesn't need it. You're the one that brought up the whole "It's not NFL its pro football!" argument so ok if that's how you feel then keep that same energy with Warner.

I understand how the rules have changed and the passing game has become more relevant... Joe being in the HOF doesn’t bother me... what does bother me is you saying Warner doesn’t belong there... yes the passing game and offenses changed but he was a master of It..... having said that should Dan Marino deserve to be in there???? Only one SB appearance in all those years putting up such great stats??????

And his time in Des Moines he was rated as the top QB in the league, but he never won a championship.
I know they lost the Finals to Arizona and Bonner outplayed him in 98, not sure about 97. In 96 they lost to Tampa and Gruden was the QB.

Of course Marino deserves to be there as he was an elite QB for over 10 years, which Warner was not. That is my argument, Warner was not elite for the length of time to be in HoF and his working for the NFLN got him in.
Namath was elite for a decade, was the face of the league. He (Marino) held the consecutive TD passes record (still should hold it as Brees did not really play consecutive games in his run, he did not play vs Carolina so that is not consecutive games.)

Is it just me or are the Pro Football Hall of Fame classes getting more and more mediocre every year? I mean I like Bill Cowher and Isaac Bruce but I never thought of those men as Hall of Famers, the best of the best. And then you have a player like Terrell Davis who was elite but played like five years.

Might be just you bc the list in the OP is stacked

Yes because Joe Namath threw for over 4000 yards
I do believe he was the first qb to do this.

How much do we count what Warren Moon did in Canada???????
Posted on 11/24/20 at 3:37 pm to dukke v
Warren Moon is already in the HoF so why do we need to count Canada?
Especially since it is a completely different sport

Why do you keep moving the goalposts? You're the one that brought up other leagues, that was never on the table until you brought it up and then you try to downplay Canada and Arena when those are brought up? And Warner is already in the Hall too so idk what you're trying to argue here

Man, I always thought Boselli was in.
It's odd that he hasn't been inducted yet.

6x first team all pro
2x second team all pro
How is that player not first ballot lock? Instead, he is hoping to get in with his FOURTH try

I’m not moving anything. Moon is already in and I’m not complaining he shouldn’t be. You guys can’t comprehend anything it appears
Flutie and his brother are in CFL HOF. I mean hey I never said Flutie should be in or out. I just said compare same eras and sports.

And Warner played 10 years in the league and led three teams to the super bowl while running an offense called “ The Greatest Show On Earth”....
Warner led teams::::::
1999 won SB
2000 made playoffs
2001 lost in SB
2002 lost in playoffs
2008 lost in SB
2009 lost in playoff
That’s SIX teams in the playoffs. With three Super Bowls during that span.
THATS HOF material way better then Joe Namath had.....
Care to argue this?????
