If Faneca doesn’t get it then why included linemen?

The only one that MIGHT not be a lock is Thomas. Admittedly he was a little before I paid attention & that thread comparing him to kuechly is still fresh in my mind. I'm sure I'm incredibly wrong though. Johnson, manning and Woodson are all guarantees.

LOL at anyone who thinks Calvin Johnson was a non-generational player. He was easily the best wide receiver of his generation.

Exactly, Johnson is easily the best of his generation. It's blowing my mind some are questioning if Johnson is going to get in. Every now and then I'll pull up his highlight reel on YouTube just to watch again. He was amazing.

Freaking monster in fantasy too

The NFL writers are very deliberate with how they induct non-generational players which means Megatron will have to wait.

Oh so we are going to say the 2nd best Tackle ever isn’t more deserving? The man was on All 90’s team yet didn’t start until 96? Yeah he’s deserving and I’d say moreso than Faneca.

Was All Pro from 97-00 when shoulder was hurt. Pro Bowl from first year.

Boselli is the better OL than Faneca and argued more deserving.

If TD and Warner get in so easy it’s criminal Boselli isn’t in already.

Johnson will probably get in but he’s not on the same level in terms of achievements as Woodson or Manning. Those guys are 100% in. There’s not a single person out there that thinks those two don’t deserve to get in their first year. Meanwhile there at least some people out there that don’t think Johnson is a first ballot guy.

So? They had 4 tackles and he was 1 of them.

Faneca has 6 1st team all pros vs. Bosellis 3. Plus 2 more 2nd teams. Oh and Faneca played more than double the career games.

Randy Moss says "Hey".

I just heard an actual voter talk about it last week and he said Johnson retiring early is going to work against him, particularly at wide receiver where the waits have been 6-10 years.

Whatever though. If he gets in bump this thread and say "I told you so".

That's not a cut and dried statement. Even if you discount the overlap with Moss and Owens, Julio Jones also had better numbers

Owens shouldn't have had to wait even if he was a jerk but Megatron retiring early will delay his entry I think.

No not says me. I just am distributing information posted by others

So was Faneca on the All Decade team by just playing half? No.

Injuries

Again to say Boselli isn’t better or more deserving is as you say your opinion.

If you look at my first post in this thread you may want to see who I said should get in. (Hint there’s a Tiger listed)

Boselli was on the 2nd team All decade team along with Richmond Webb, who has never been a finalist for the HOF.

Boselli was a Pro Bowler 5 times

Faneca made 1st team All Pro 6 times, and was a 1st team OL on the 2000’s All Decade team.

2nd best Tackle ever? Tyron Smith has had a better career than Boselli.
