We've been saying the Pro Bowl needs to die, and now that they changed it to multiple varied competitions, it's not good enough?
Nah, this has been more entertaining than the recent glorified flag-football games in pads & helmets. Plus, it's better than nothing...like you are requesting it to be.

I think the NFL is promoting flag football hard to youth, including girls, and they see this as a way to “grow” the audience I guess.
I have never cared for the pro bowl or the variations.
About the only all-star thing I ever liked was the slam dunk contest when Nique and Jordan were doing it, and the Home Run derby.

While this isn’t the ‘Pro Bowl’ this has become pretty damn entertaining despite whatever that ‘half time’ performance was.
The skill challenges are pretty fun to watch. The Flag football part can be eliminated as far as I’m concerned

Meh, this is a preview for what football will eventually become after lawsuits and the continued deterioration of our society as whole.
Combine that with the WWE approach that the NFL is taking, this is the direction it is all going.
