They both however pitched on short rest as relievers to help the team.

They both would have thrown 30-40 pitchers yesterday either way

Game leverage is of course different, but it’s not TO playing in the Super Bowl on a broken leg like you’re making it out to be

Im not making it out to be like that at all

I’m making it out to be they didn’t to the oh so common “I’m not risking myself by pitching more when I’m a top pick”.

Perfectly healthy players not wanting to play on normal schedule is very much common across college athletics now. Going outside your normal routine to do more should be celebrated

This same exact thing happens several times every single year. Paul Skenes was warming up in the bullpen championship game if they needed him

You’re on an all time streak of being fricking retarded

Speaking on Doyle coming in relief

quote:

"We have 50 guys willing to put anything on the line to win that game," Fischer said. "Guys are willing to risk whatever is happening with their arm or whatever and they aren't supposed to be out there, but we just have literally 50 guys that are the definition of what the sign says up here, 'I will give my all for Tennessee.'"

This is factually untrue if it actually came down to that. And Vitello would never even let the guy go out there.

Are you 7 years old?

You think you know more about quite literally everything than quite literally everyone…. While being factually wrong about 80% of the time

Another TN baseball player statement from last night on Twitter

quote:

In an era of selfishness in college sports, how about this guy Liam Doyle? Automatic first round drat pick who has nothing to gain throwing tonight except throwing for his brothers and his school.

I like both the player and the wake coach in this scenario

Yep, was fun from both sides

I hope they don’t come after the wake coach for it

Players would never speak in hyperbole after winning a huge emotional games. This is all fact, with no emotion involved.

I’ll ask again, are you 7? It’s already June, make sure you’re getting your Christmas list together or Santa may not have enough time to make your presents, especially with the tariff situation

Imagine quoting coach/player-speak and using it as your big gotcha lol

Let’s get this right just so we know where you stand. This is what you think happened:

There was a high chance of them getting injured
Players AND coaches all said, “frick it, this elimination game in a regional is more important than your future”

THIS is the scenario that you believe played out in your head?

frick man. You really are having a bad few days

And also has pretty much zero to lose by throwing lol

It’s crazy for someone as aCkShUaLlY LiTeRaL as he likes to be that he’s using player speak and coach speak as his defining argument lol

Someone who actually brought quotes and information from actually Tennessee baseball players

Pride

Someone who is yelling, screaming, calling everyone wrong and bringing nothing to the table beside their emotions

The first quote is about doyle pitching, the second is about Fisher pumping up the crowd from the on deck circle. I don't really care about the argument, but that was pretty disingenuous to conflate the two quotes to be about the same topic.
