Colangelo has stated in interviews that the members of the Redeem Team on this list (CP3, Williams, Kobe, D Wade, Melo, LBJ, Bosh, Howard) will be in London if they want to be, as will Durant. That leaves 3 spots if none of those guys drop out. Love or Chandler will get one of the spots and Westbrook or Rose (or possibly Chauncey if they want a vet) will get the 3rd PG spot. That leaves Griffin, Iggy, or Odom imo for the last spot.

That should be a no brainer

Love is in automatically. His ability to hit 3s is invaluable in international play.

LeBron and Carmelo's best position internationally is the 4 so I think we're only taking 3 conventional bigs again. That would mean leaving one of Bosh, Love, or Griffin at home, I didn't realize all the guys from 08 had an open invite so I guess that means Love or Griffin.

No doubt, I think Love is a lock as well, it seems like Griffin could get left home.

Don't they usually invite the top college player in the nation?

Rose/CP3 - Only 2 PG's allowing a spot for another big man.
Kobe/Wade/Gordon - Like many of said, the presence of a shooter is huge (see Prince and Redd in 08). Wade and Kobe are scorers more than sharpshooters so you need a guy like Gordon. Wade and Gordon could also run point for short stints.
Lebron/Durant/Anthony - All I can say is, HOLY frick that is deep.
Griffin/Love - Love may not see a lot of playing time with Griffin starting and the need to get both Durant and Anthony on the court. But his presence as an end of bench guy could be huge.
Howard/Chandler - The one "weak" spot from the 2008 team was that the only true center on that team was Howard with Bosh, Boozer, and Amare all natural 4's. Didn't really hurt much but I think you still need a true center behind Howard. Chandler is the only other one on the list.

No way in hell Griffin starts over Durant or Carmelo.

Probably right but I was just listing by natural position.

It will likely be the same starters as 08 with CP3 at PG instead of Kidd.
