Predictions on how the sagas for Huggins and Fitzgerald end up.

Fitzgerald: they settle out or court and Fitzgerald ends up with half of the $40 mil that he is owed.
Huggins: ends up being fired with cause and gets $0.

Why do you thin Fitz gets anything? They have grounds to fire him for cause and not owe him a dime

I think his lawyer can argue hard enough that Fitz didn't know what was going on...and that the NW president illegally reneged on the 2-week suspension thing.

I predict Huggins will keep on drinking and Fitzgerald will come out as homosexual and blame that as the reason he was fired. He'll ride that financial wave into some kind of gig.

I see your point, but something tells me they wouldn’t cut him loose so quickly without knowing they can get out of the contract. If they we not sure, they would have taken their time and let the two weeks play out.

Fitz will get something from Northwestern. Dude is a living legend there and they wanted him so bad they tried to bury the whole thing for him. Also Northwestern wants this to go away quietly too.

I believe their is enough clues that Huggins did in fact resign
I do believe Fitzgerald will get a substantial payout for the way he’s being treated and more heads gonna roll in that athletic dept
Just goes to show it only takes a handful of players probably disgruntled to discredit a coach that has done far more for hundreds of players that will back him
The way they are trying to play the race card in this is a really low blow
