To be fair I think people have tried to appear more successful than they are for thousands of years. I love the saying: "You can look rich and stay poor or you can look poor and become rich."

It would be better in the long run to do the second but the first option is a lot more fun in the short term.

You need hyphens in between “5 year old”, and you hyphenate the words operating as an adjective when they come before the noun they’re describing so you should have also written it as “grammatically-correct”.
