Has this ever happened, especially for a MLB playoff game? If so it would be crazy in any city, even Arlington.

I went to a rangers game the same night as a The Weeknd concert in cowboys stadium.

It was a nonissue.

Not exactly the same but the concert was sold out

How difficult would it have been to flip the AL & NL schedules?

AL Division series plays Sat, Sun, Tue, Wed*, Fri*
NL Division series plays Sat, Mon, Wed, Thur*, Sat

Did not look to see if the other teams could have potential conflicts; but if it's just Seattle, why would this not be a quick solution?

Obviously, they will just make the Seattle game the night game that Sunday; but looks like MLB does have an option there.

Detroit has Ford Field and Comerica Park next to each other and it works.

different networks carry the NL vs the AL playoffs, so probably not that easy.

Seattle is actually a decent place that people want to live though.
At least for the next year or 2.

This city is totally fricked if they have two major sporting events happening on the same day
But you guys have pubic transit and are constantly telling the rest of the country how great it is like a bunch of smug a-holes.

It happened in Kansas City Monday, September 13, 2010...

The Chiefs played San Diego Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium and the Royals played the Oakland A's.

Getting 30 miles north of the airport…..from pick up to destination…. Took 3 hours on a Thursday at 3PM

Could've taken the light rail and made it in half the time. Sorry desert boomers can't use Google

The infrastructure of the area surrounding the Mariners' T-Mobile Park and the Seahawks' Lumen Field is not designed to support two games played at the same time and would create a chaotic traffic situation along with overcrowding.

Counterflow.Someone should tell them.

Playoffs >>> midseason Problem is I don’t see how they can even play same day. Even a 7 pm MLB start probably causes issues if NFL is at 1 pm

The mid season game was scheduled long before. Tell mlb to kick rocks.

If you have been to Seattle recently…. The traffic is a disaster and that would create a massive disaster.

We just got from the airport to Fremont during rush hour on Friday in 25 mins. Maybe we got lucky.

Seattle literally has all of their sports arenas right next to each other downtown.

The Seahawks and Mariners are next to each other. The arena for the Kraken is by the Space Needle

People in Dallas bitch all the time about the stadiums in Arlington, but the Cowboys and Rangers can both play on the same day and Arlington can handle it.

Pretty sure Arlington doesn't have the geographic challenges that Seattle does (read: lots of water and limited space).
