His intensity was questioned. But i'd still take him over Chandler all day. He's a legit 15+ 10+ guy.

He just cant be our center if West at 6'8"-6'9" is our PF

I think Okafor is a better player, but Chandler with his deal expiring after next season is a better fit. Chandler would have probably sat out half this season with an "injury" if he was still a Hornet, though.

i'm not saying okafor is a bad player, he's a solid-good 4, but he isn't a center and he isn't going to intimidate anyone defensively. west looks bigger than he is.

Okafor actually was an elite shot blocker in college and was expected to be that in the NBA.

He averages around 2 bpg which is still more than Chandler

he gets blocks but he doesn't alter shots besides that, no one is afraid to come in on the lane on him. that's what i mean when talking about altering shots, not just blocks.

Yeah i agree.

Chandler definately altered more shots than Okafor.

Problem is, we're playing teams with 2 or 3 legit 7 footers and we have none.

how will we deal him? straight swap, future picks, 2 for 1 with receiving players under his caliber...

I thought West was happy that Scott got fired though?

But yeah might as well trade him if possible. We still got Diogu & Songalia who have similar range & can run pick & pops with & they seem more willing to hustle for rebounds too. Maybe get a legit true C & move Okafor back to PF or a wing that can put the ball on the floor & create shots for himself. And please for the love of god package Devon Brown, Hilton, or Mo P in the deal too. jesus

hell throw in Peja too but I doubt any team wants his huge contract. old man

just got back from the game...if anyone knows bscott tell him im very impressed with his ability to evaluate the readiness of his rookies.

from watching tonights game it was quite clear that marcus and darren had no business getting real minutes in the first 9 games...im going to miss him and his ability to develop young talent
