that is the epitome of being overrated.

True.

However, we are talking about currently (this year), and IDK if there's any way you can say we're overrated right now (ranking wise, but mostly perception wise).

If it wasn't for Terry Porter's (?) BS flag in the endzone vs Miami.

If it wasn't for a poor call at the end of reg, OSU wins in reg.

+1. Redmann is correct. No team gets the hype and lack of follow through more than ND. Ever since Beano Cook stated that Ron Powlus would win atleast two Heisman Trophys the Golden Flamers have sucked arse. When they start to lose money for NBC they will be forced to join a conference and share the huge piece of the pie that they get to eat. frick ND and everything about them.

I kind of see what your saying, but you could what if a lot of games. We could probably what if LSU to another 11-2 season if we wanted.

Ohio State played a great game against almost the exact same Miami team that a year earlier was arguably the greatest team ever.

They deserved the win.

I think the over rated award for this year would go to the Big 12 south. I may be eating those words though.

people hate what they fear or envy.

i do not see any other rational reason anyone from sec country would "hate" notre dame. they are basically irrelevant on a national stage.

People don't bitch about programs that are irrelevant to the extent they bitch about Notre Dame. At some level, everyone knows they'll be good again.

they get about the same as USC

both of them are well above any other program

what?

see: the 2005 and 2006 BCS, and the rules of the BCS solely made to allow ND an easier time in the pool of possible selections

They have their own TV network. That is over-hype and the garbage that ND puts on the field makes it even worse. They lost to fricking Syracuse this year and Navy last year. The hate is deep and strong, ND join a conference. The schedule was set up for ND to win atleast nine games this year. They suck and Weiss is a fraud.
