Manu Ginobili. Couldnt stand him, thought he helped introduce flopping to the NBA (along with Vlade Divac and Derek Fisher).
As the years went by I grew to appreciate his unorthodox style and fearlessness when driving to the basket. His passing was exceptional, his shooting was above average and just his playmaking ability was impeccable.
Who ya got and why?

Tom Brady. Dude is a competitor and loves to win. Can’t hate someone like that, especially whenever he can back up his goat status with 6 rings

Joe Montana - Didn't really like Notre Dame when he played there and he always killed the Saints when they were in the same division. But I loved watching him in the playoffs and Super Bowl.
Mark Ingram - hated him at Bama, took a while but finally loved him in NO

Brandon LaFell - he sucked and then turned good

Brady. I don’t love him. But you do have to acknowledge and respect what he’s accomplished.

JJ Redick. Seemed like an entitled suburban white boy Dookie at first. But, handled insane harassment well and became a solid all around player. Has become even more likeable in the NBA with his media accessibility and reports of sketchy behavior.

ARod. He’s like a completely different person now.

Larry Bird. I was a 76ers fan and hated the Celtics, especially Bird, but winning the 3 point contest, raising his finger with the last shot and learning about how much trash he talked, i came to love him

Yes, Tim Tebow without a doubt another one for me

Kobe. I hated him.
Then once I really watched him, I loved him.
Would always have Kobe vs LeBron arguments and I was LeBron all the way.

None, I still hate most of the ones I hated except maybe Jeremy Shockey.
frick all the Falcons, except Todd McClure because I know him personally. Know his brother Trey much better though, so still kinda frick Todd McClure .
He’s a great guy though, it’s just the Falcon thing that still gets me.

LeBron James lol.
Didnt like him back when most people did when he was first with the Cavs. Then when he became a villian by going to Miami (which I thought was wrong on the part of fab reaction) I started to become a fan. Now he is my favorite athlete in the world Lol

Will Clark. Couldn’t stand him when he was with the Giants. That all changed when he was traded to STL from Baltimore for the stretch run in 2000. McGwire was done for the year and we needed a big bat.
