Magic never averaged 24 points in his life.
Though, i do agree with your point.

Championships are dependent upon your team

What season did he average 24 points, much less a career average?
He averaged 19.5 for his career accroding to your link

but if you are better than kobe bryant, you should be able to win at least one conference title. not sayin cp3 wont, but idk if its happening soon.
there are very few great nba players who havent won their conference

Before they turn 24, when theyre carrying their team?

Kobe had a Shaq in his prime on all 3 of his title teams so far. Championships are not a huge sway in his favor over Chris Paul. The Lakers Stunk when Kobe was a one man gang and the Hornets aren't very far from that IMO. West would not be an all star without Paul.

I didnt interpret that as meaning a single season when you brought up 9 nba finals

Meh, Kobe never took his team all the way with a shitty team around him. CP hasn't either but you can't give Kobe credit for leading his team to a conference title when it took a good supporting cast for him to do it.
Lakers > Hornets
Kobeless Lakers > Paulless Hornets

LeBron lead the Cavs to the NBA Finals at 22

paul is going to be in new orleans for a while. he isnt going anywhere with that team. he 100% needs another superstar to ever win anything of substance.

the hornets last year were not shitty. they were playing above their capabilities, but they weren't shitty.

I understand that and i'm not putting Paul on a Lebron level.
I'm just saying we cant write the last chapter on Paul's career when he's 24 years old.

Harder for a point guard to do this, without having someone to finish his assists and what not. If Paul and a guy like D Wade were on the same team, they would be F'n scary together.

I agree.
But he has another decade of his prime to get a chance to play with another star. Whether its in nola or elsewhere

Which still wasn't GREAT by any means.
