The great Gonzaga teams from the past would not have lost to conference foes. This team lost to St Mary’s (twice) and a bad Santa Clara team.

Gonzaga is a a 5 seed solely of brand name. It felt like 2 months ago there was talks that they wouldn’t even make the tournament. Obviously they’ve played alot better since then, but point is this isn’t a normal Gonzaga team.

Should be a helluva game..maybe the most intriguing first round game.
McNeese is tricky...and while this isn't one of Gonzaga's best teams.. it's hard to knock a win at Kentucky and it's still Few and Gonzaga..just an all time banger here...as usual in these things...all the pressure will be on Gonzaga playing a no name team with a ton of athletes.. and some good shooters. Has everything you need for the typical 12 over 5 upset
