Yeah I'd have to dig deeper but leaving other teams out, the saints and eagles would have the same conf record.
Would go one down to do, which currently favors the saints (and likely to stay that way).
But again the eagles would need to collapse with that easy schedule

quote:eagles would be a 3 pts underdog, at worst against those teams at home. Hardly a confident pick.
I disagree. I think the Eagles would lose against each, especially the Vikings.

Which doesn't favor the Saints because they're currently behind Philly and Minn on that tiebreaker.
Currently, yes, but in the scenario they were talking about the Saints have to win out and Minny/Philly have to drop games, putting it back in their favor.

Yeah don't even have to look at the whole schedules, they'd each have lost to one AFC team (pats for no and kc for eagles), so they'd have the same NFC record. (Unless one of the two eagles hypothetical losses is the raiders)

Strength of victory or schedule I believe.
It may have changed over the last week, but I don't see why it would have if the eagles lose NFC games (2 of their last 3)
Edit: welp according to the playoff calculator I'm wrong

Dude the Saints had half of their starters injured during the game, and the falcons were getting their dick sucked by the refs all game long with the 12,000 automatic 1st down penalties and still out played the falcons.
The Falcons should have beat the shite out of the Saints with all of that help.

Foles is no slouch. They won't be near as good, but they won't be awful by any means. I like Foles, and they still have quite a few weapons they can go to. They'll be fine I think.

So what? This is the nfl. Teams can lose by 3 TDS To a team and come back and beat them a couple weeks later and it’s not a big deal. Do you keep up with the league at all? The saints almost winning even though they ‘got cheated’ don’t mean nothing when it comes to the next game.

Get 3 ints and still lose the game? No amount of ref interference is a good enough excuse for that.

Foles looked good yesterday. Anyone that says their season is over just wants attention.

Foles made one decent throw in that game. Hardly enough evidence to say they'll be fine.

Nick Foles is not very good, and I think he will remind people of that.

id say they went from 80% chance of superbowl to 30-40%.

Or they see how stacked the NFC is.
