So, is it measured accurately on the basketball court?

I am not going back a page. Are they still talking about football, or are we back talking about basketball?

Frankly it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter if MJ was better because he had "unparalleled drive" or not. It matters that he was better. Everything that is discussed here only matters to the extent that the player is better. Why do you think the only do all those combine measurements and tests (like the Wonderlic) one time? Because once they have objective data and evaluations from NFL performances, they don't need to measure all of those attributes.

What do you hate about that lineup? It gives CLE 3 guys who can switch and their three best players on the floor, but Delly can be switched for RJ.

The Cavs have it in them to play better, they have been in the game until the 3rd quarter for both games.

But their A game is absent..and they have yet to bring GSW down a peg.

That said, Game 3 better be their haymaker.

"When I watch some of these playoff games, and I look at what's being run out there, as what people call an offense, it's really quite remarkable to see how far our game has fallen from a team game," Jackson said. "Four guys stand around watching one guy dribble a basketball."

The lack of structure extends even to the basic tenets of the game, Jackson said.

"I watch LeBron James, for example," he said. "He might [travel] every other time he catches the basketball if he's off the ball. He catches the ball, moves both his feet. You see it happen all the time. There's no structure, there's no discipline, there's no 'How do we play this game' type of attitude. And it goes all the way through the game. To the point where now guys don't screen -- they push guys off with their hands."

The triangle is cute and all, but it doesn't hold a candle to the offense GSW runs. GS plays some of the most gorgeous basketball you might ever see in your lifetime. Everyone on the court is moving at all times, and everyone on the court can make "the" pass.

Phil Jackson is one annoying piece of shite.

Love needs to be done. You're not backing dudes down in the post when you look like the skinny fat kid at the pool. Put the weight back on. He still has been pretty solid for them but I just don't know how they make it work after this

I never heard of this guy but he absolutely hit the nail on the head regarding Kevin Love 2 years ago.

Why trading for Kevin Love would be the wrong move

Jackson is smug there's no question about it, but on some philosophical issues in basketball he can make valid points.

But people have been quantifying chemistry since the Walton Era. "Breaks of the Game" by David Halberstam talks about Portland's (Mid 70's) Psychologist and his role in shaping personnel decisions.

While its hard to quantify, people have been measuring the same way people measure production in other areas of basketball.

What? He was wrong on both accounts. Losing Wiggins was the right move, and despite Love's defensive flaws in aspects of the game (pick and roll), he hasn't been a terrible defender by any means.

Well it is possible to be a fan, and still know that the Cavs had a low probability of winning against one of the greatest teams of all time. Shel himself predicted the Warriors in 5.

So,Jelly, does Cleveland posses such chemistry? They seem to have, but they have had decidedly easy road to The Finals...has that been detrimental to the mental state of this squad in the long run? Did they ever posses chemistry or was it fools gold?
Have they simply not been together long enough?

Well it doesn't matter if their skills and chemistry, and whatever else, makes them a lesser team than their opponent. Since GSW is one of the greatest teams of all time, that seems to be the case.

My wife and I have more chemistry and I can prove ot since all these emotional aspects can be fully quantified thanks to sports psychologists
