How will the LIV ruin professional golf?
Shitty tours, making the best players in the world fly overseas constantly (they all live in Florida), shite practice courses, terrible places to live.
This isn’t hard. America is the best golfing HQ in the world.

You have no idea about the world of golf outside of the PGA and maybe a little of the KFT

Scottie Scheffler on guys joining LIV Tour:
“I haven’t really noticed anyone missing this week. Maybe outside of DJ.”

You have a very myopic view of professional golf at this level.

LIV is going to play the majority of their tournaments in the United States.

The world golf rankings do not assign points to 54 hole golf tournaments at this time. At this time LIV tournaments are all 54 hole events.

LIV is going to dominate for a while, until the PGA Attitude Era starts.

This is a great point. Will they have to adjust if the SOF is top notch?

The more the PGA reacts the more LIV gains traction. LIV also understands that a global audience attracts more eyeballs versus the PGA's position.

So you think the LIV answer to development being the Asian tour isn’t a detrimental thing to golf?
Cause the only opinion I said was worrying about the future of golf if LIV wins is a legit concern and not sanctimonious.
LIV has an ownership stake in the Asian Tour. The biggest loser in this entire high stakes golf game is the European Tour (DP World Player Tour) because they sided with the PGA over LIV. Now the Asia Tour is paying players 2x the amount that the DP World Player Tour is paying out.
LIV is also working on buying out the Australasian Tour, South Korean Tour, and Japan Tour and merging them into the Asian Tour. Once they do that it will be the end of the DP World Player Tour and significantly impact the PGA's ability to get the best international players.

A poster posted a link of a 54 hole tourney that did award OWGR points.

Sounds like we are all going to get an advanced education on how golf works.
Knowing that OWGR is giving out points to 23 sanctioned leagues, most not on the PGA, to simply assume they are in a hurry to get caught up in a legal fist fight with LIV because they don't want to offer points to Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia, or the likes of Phil Mickelson is just ridiculous.
