Who knows, he could be a late bloomer.

Does anyone else get the Rick Mirer or Heath Shuler feel about Levis? He has everything you want

Moreso Shuler. Mirer's arm talent didn't really impress me, though he did have good athleticism. Shuler had the arm and the mobility.

He seems to have all the physical tools you want, but something tells me he just doesn’t have it all together in the head area. Just a gut feeling

And the Colts GM should be fired on the spot if he takes Levis #1.

He’s the exception, not the rule. Wonder when people will figure that out

Wasn’t Mitch Trubisky pretty highly regarded as well?

JT Barrett was also an All-American and a really good college player regardless of how highly rated a prospect he was in the NFL, same with Haskins who also played ahead of Burrow.

Burrow also was good in college. Levis has not been

Difference with Trubisky IMO, is that Nagy did him no favors, much like the Texans and Carr. Trubisky has everything you want and Kap who was his OC at UNC says and firmly believed he was real deal NFL guy. He said that his biggest issue was lack of time in real go situations.

I'm sure that's the only reason threw for 2400 yards, 19 TDs, and 10 INTs last year with almost identical stats per game last season.

Maybe you can help explain why his numbers look so similar to Brady Cook at Missouri.

Snell and Rodriquez? Or was Snell 2 years ago? But missing Rodriquez for 3 or 4 games did not help much either.

This board grilled Herbert for alleged bad stats, but never understood his last 2 years he only played 1 game with his starting WR, as they were always hurt.

But I am not completely sold on Levis, I was on Herbert.

Herbert still threw for almost 3500 yards and 32 TDs with only 6 INTs his senior season. Levis was perpetually average his entire career. At a certain point, a supposed #1 overall pick has to produce regardless how how good he looks in drills

The Oregon and Kentucky offenses are vastly different, so using yards alone is not true assessment. Again though, I am not on Levis for reasons I cannot quite figure out. I have seen him fold in games, but then I have seen him do things that Kentucky should not do.

There is something I just cannot place on why I would not take him over Stroud or Young. I would though take him over AR15. I feel that Levis is in a mold of Big Ben, but not quite the player or QB that Big Ben was.

ETA:
I was a big Allen fan as well also. But I completely missed on Mayfield and Wilson.

I think Levis reminds me of that QB Tulane had go to the Bills the most maybe?

To be fair to Levis, Kentucky's offense went to utter dogshit when he didnt play.

The guy who is going to be the real bust is AR15.

His closest profile in recent draft history bis Deshaun fricking Kizer.

against USC: 15/27 178 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT, looks similar to a Levis statline

And then yeah they sucked in the bowl game but Levis wasn't the only player who opted out so I'm not going to give the bowl game much weight. Basically their entire offense, including their top 2 QBs, top 2 RBs, their tight end, and 4 WRs didn't play in that game

If the colts hire Saturday and trade up for Levis, irsay should be forced to sell the team or go to rehab for real this time
