Manning needs to retire. He wasn't very good this year and he is lucky that the Broncos fielded such a dominating defense.

Retire on top it's time for other QB's

Manning needs to retire. He was playing on fumes last year.

I feel like LA might.

But Peyton isn't coming back unless it's to Denver. He knows he can only sneak out another ring at this point in his career if it's with one of the best defenses ever.

Denver doesn't need Peyton. They were better offensively with Osweiler, and Elway knows that.

He would need to go to a team with a great offensive line, a good running game, and good WR's. Teams that fit this criteria that might need a QB.

Dallas

Why does Dallas need a QB?

I have no idea about LA's offensive line, but to my understanding they have a good young running back, solid receivers, and a very good pass rush on defense. They're a poor man's Denver, I would guess.

Peyton needs to retire so he can spend his days committing sexual assaults at massage parlors.

Do you retire winning a super bowl but statistically having your worst season and playing in only 50% of the games? Or do you go out in flames, having a good offense stats on a team that struggles to even make the playoffs?

I can see his dilemma if playing elsewhere for a swan song season is only option if he doesn't retire.

Peyton wouldn't have good offensive stats if he played for the Tennessee Vols next year.

Did we watch the same guy this year? What makes you think Peyton Manning could put up good offensive stats somewhere else, knowing he already had weapons in Denver?

Nah dude. According to this board, guys like Thomas and Sanders weren't good until Peyton made them good.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Same goes with Eric Decker even though he's been really good with NY Jets. And Julius Thomas, even though he showed the same talents for Jacksonville Jaguars.

Stats wise, they werent

SANDERS:

376 YARDS-Big Ben
288 YARDS-Big Ben
626 yards-Big Ben
740 Yards- Big Ben
traded
1404 yards- Peyton

DT
283 YARDS
551 YARDS
Peyton comes
1434 yards

So yes, Peyton turned those guys career around. Both sides of this argument on tigerdroppings is retarded. Your side refuses to acknowledge the huuuuuuge statistical turnaround, and the other side refuses to acknowledge the benefit these receivers got from a better system and having a crappy QB before(DT's case)

I don't think Manning will return, but I also think any article saying how people are getting along behind the scenes is generally full of shite. I don't trust a single one of them. They are wrong far more often than they are right.
