Testimony is evidence. The Grand Jury must not have found the women to be very credible.

Considering the fact that there are 22 women with no connection sharing very similar stories about their encounters with Watson, it’s overwhelmingly likely like that he’s guilty.

Guilty of what?

First, it’s been established several of the women do in fact know each other.

Second, it’s obvious the guy is a sex addict who was having sexual acts performed on him by these women. That’s a crime but not the one in question. At this point it’s looking more and more likely that he paid for consensual sex acts and that a bunch of these women then saw their shot at a payday and hopped on the money train hoping to leverage this against him.

Do people not understand that grand jury indictments are much, much easier to get from a than actually going to trial and getting a conviction? If the grand jury didn’t indict him, it’s pretty likely he didn’t do it.

This also should have been obvious when the primary lawyer went to the media first. Always look at what someone is doing and not what they’re saying. He was trying to get a trial by media before putting everything out in the open. This isn’t a new trick and these dipshits fall for it every single time.
Exactly.

Add to that the timing of all this - Watson refuses to play for the Texans. Suddenly "allegations" come out threatening to end Watson's career.

One wonders the Texans' involvement in all this. If you won't play for us, we'll make sure you don't play for anyone.

This reminds me of Dave Chappelle's joke about Bill Cosby. "At first, I didn't believe it. I said, “These people are obviously trying to destroy Dr. Cosby's rich legacy.” Even 34 allegations into it, I was still like, “Man… he probably only raped ten or 11 of those people."

Bill Cosby was indicted, convicted and served time in prison. They had de facto admissions from him. And the women in question were not essentially sex workers, they were legitimately employed and he drugged them.

It’s not even remotely comparable. Watson was getting handjobs from low end massage therapists and they later accused him of forcing himself on them. A producer at CBS is slightly more believable than someone who routinely trades money for sex acts.

I've thought this all along. The timing is too convenient.

If DW was a 7th round player he wouldn't have 22 women trying to clean out his bank accounts.

Plus, if Watson had agreed to continue playing for the Texans, I can guarantee you that none of this would have ever seen the light of day - even if true.
