Draft pick doesn’t really hurt ... more than likely the player we would pick could be signed as a undrafted free agent anyway

They are all tested and play on the field together.
There is no way the Saints are the only team celebrating in a freaking locker room without masks on.
I heard there are teams with players who dive into the stands to celebrate? That is far more riskier.
I understand if they feel they need to fine the Saints, but to take away future draft picks over this is insane.
At least give them a warning with an understanding of EXACTLY what the penalty would be.. before just handing out such a penalty.
It's a crazy covid year. To take away a draft pick for celebrating in the locker room dancing is an injustice.
Is there any way the Saints can appeal this BS?

It's a crazy year and best to get games in if possible.
Denver is 4-6. I would be pretty upset except that's possibly a blessing for a team under .500. Unless of course you were in the NFC East.

It's ridiculous how often the league is willing to make an example out of the small market Saints.
Why couldn't the league just fine the Saints then issue a warning with an actual direct understanding of what they could potentially lose? Not just freaking wing a penalty that takes away from the team's future. That is so unprofessional of the NFL.
Goodell is trash. Why wasn't a fine good enough for now? This was like two weeks ago?

Also...wasn’t it the players who agreed to let Goodell have all this power in the most recent collective bargaining agreement? They gave him the title judge, jury and executor in exchange for a larger share of the pie.

Then I expect $1 million dollar fines for the Broncos and Ravens for their blatant flouting of the rules/protocols. Not to mention a mid-round pick taken away.
In one case, you had an employee not wear a mask while exhibiting symptoms which went unreported and it caused a Thanksgiving day game to be rescheduled 2X.
Then you have the Broncos who didn't have a single QB where a mask which made all of them ineligible.
In my opinion, those are much bigger issues than the Saints celebration.
