The SEC champion was always getting in. That wasn’t specific to Bama. Had Ole Miss beaten Bama in the regular season and therefore been ranked top 6, then beaten UGA in Atlanta to finish with one loss (to UGA in reg season), Ole Miss would have been in the playoff.

Awe, look at you. Poor thing.

Ole Miss is even below LSU in the pecking order. Ole Miss would have sat at home.

Again, Bama is the only team in the SEC that could have something like this happen for them. This is pretty much proven annually as soon as they lose their first game.

The committee would literally laugh in Kiffin's face in this scenario.

LOL Ole Miss LOLOLOLOL

You just described, in vivid detail, why FSU did not get in over BAMA this year.

The same TCU that beat Michigan in round one?

You are all over the place with your justifications in every thread.

Just admit it: you are entitled to play by different standards because you are Bama. At least you would be honest and not look stupid in every thread.

JK - I know you can't be embarassed.

Oh, so they were wrong last year, but are absolutely correct this year?

Let me guess, Bama should have gotten in over TCU last year?

Oh they will. The Michigan reaction to having Bama at 4 says it all. They have already lost.

Reminds me of 2011. My contact at the football office flat out told me "don't go to the CG. these guys think this is all fake. LSU isn't going to win. The moment they found out their entire historic season meant nothing, they pretty much wanted to no dress out".

I should have listened to him. I went to the game anyway lol

Doesn't say much for Michigan, does it? But it does explain how they have never gotten out of the semi-rounds. They can just be glad they didn't get that Georgia thrashing on national TV.

BAMA is the gold standard. The SEC is the BEST conference in America. The SEC West is the BEST division in college football. Look at all the top games in the NY6 Bowls and who is playing in them. The world knows what I know.

How come you can't figure it out? In that, you brought up stupid.

Alabama could have 3 losses and they'll still find a way to get them in there because they COULD win any game

Yes, that is correct. Bama with 3 or less losses will be in the new CFB playoff system every year guaranteed. Fact. End of story.

3 loss LSU team? No.

Fact. End of story.

we should strive to take subjectivity as out of this process as possible.

That will never happen. Subjectivity is, has been and will always be a part of this process. It's been that way in CFB for well over 100 years. It won't change.

For those who hate choosing a Champion based on subjectivity, eye-test or a person or persons picking tournament contestants based on feelings, go be a fan of English Association Football and note how those teams Promoted and Relegated are decided - it is completely objective, based on points - no subjectivity at all.
