It couldn’t possibly be the fan base who watches their QB’s consistently get to throw to 5 star WR’s against 3 star DB’s and not understand why those QBs can’t do the same in the NFL.

ACC was 6-4 against the SEC this year

Yeah, we went through this in another thread. They beat 7-5 aTm & 3 other teams with losing records. The LSU win is the only win over a good team. FSU played 1 ranked team between Week 1 & last night. Their schedule was trash.

Yes, he had every indication. The ACC is a joke. Their sos was 50 pts below Alabama.

Didn't seem to matter last week when the committee had FSU in the top 4.

Remember when a 3rd string QB beat Bama in the semis then went on to win the whole thing?

Who played who? Because #2 ACC just lost at home to #9 SEC last week.

Why is only the Iron Bowl considered a rivalry game to excuse away Bama's poor play but the same not granted to Louisville in rivalry game with Kentucky and FSU in rivalry game with Florida???

Bama looked like shite in that game, but oh, it's a rivalry game and anything can happen so that poor play means nothing.

So ACC #1 with Travis beat SEC #4 at a neutral site in week 1? I'm shocked.

1. Bama won (on the road).
2. Louisville lost (at home).
3. If you're gonna bring up struggle wins then you can't ignore FSU beating BC 31-29 with Travis.

Bottom line is FSU was never getting in. Media had already started talking down FSU before Travis’ injury. There was nothing we could have done.

Then why not drop them from 4 the Sunday after Travis got hurt?

Why keep them there for 3 weeks and then after they go undefeated and win their conference decide to penalize them then?

frick the committee

Remember when TCU was #3, won their last game by 52 points, and got dropped to #6?
FSU would've made a 4 team BCS but the rest of the country hated the BCS so much after the Bama/LSU rematch that we got this instead.

They could have scored again at the end but they kneeled it out. That's class, though, I doubt you would understand.

How is it possibly just, if that is the case, not to make it perfectly clear? How can the committee after the fact hang its hat on such a notion?

This whole deal bothers me more and more irrationally the longer it goes on.

I have another question along these lines. Does FSU get pushed out if 2nd QB plays and hangs 28-35 pts on UL? No way in hell the committee leaves them out like that. So with that in mind and knowing the 3rd string guy is only a one game bandaid why did the committee choose to bump them if it was not predetermined.

On offense. On defense, they were dominant, and Florida doesn't even get a touchdown against them without a blown unnecessary roughness penalty:

Those were ACC refs.

They had their chance to do that against us. Tate was 12/25 for 124 yards and 0 TDs before he got hurt.

1. Bama won (on the road).

FSU won on road in Gainesville

2. Louisville lost (at home).

Fair

3. If you're gonna bring up struggle wins then you can't ignore FSU beating BC 31-29 with Travis

Was strictly using final weeks since that was being used against FSU, but let's not pretend like Bama didn't have some close games with inferior opponents.

Bama @ USF (without Milroe, but still not good)

It only proved that LSU and Bama were 1-1

The situation it put LSU in lost them a NC

The first game was billed as the Game of the Century.

LSU won.

Then the committee said frick dat and put Alabama in.

Odds are going fifty fifty or higher for Bama on second try.
