He's still alive, but he has advanced dementia which is why he couldn't testify at the Sandusky trial.
He was also a combat veteran, but he was so traumatized by what he saw in the showers that he couldn't stand up straight or complete a sentence. He said it was the worst thing he ever witnessed.
