Wow.
I get the “next Nebraska” argument, but Franklin had so many opportunities and he never got it done. He built extremely talented rosters. With their resources, a competent replacement should be able to continue that.
They were set up perfectly to win it all last year and couldn’t get it done. I thought they were the biggest threat to OSU. Imo they were more talented than ND and had a shot at a rematch with OSU. If they couldn’t do it then, then when?
Would be surprised if it’s Cignetti. He is into his 60s and already has a contender in his Hoosiers.

Also cignetti comes across as a guy that’s going to coach a long time just to stick it to every single program and AD who never would give him a shot along the way.
