Shams Charania @ShamsCharania New Orleans has agreed on deal with Brooklyn assistant general manager Trajan Langdon to make him the new GM working alongside David Griffin, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium .

He’s been one of the hottest names in FO circles and was instrumental in the Nets rebuild. Big get for Griffin.

Griffin is quietly assembling an elite Front Office. Getting Nelson and Langdon is a dream start.

That meeting with AD is going to be "You can leave, but you're downgrading everything immediately, from medical staff to facility investment to supporting cast."

Anthony Davis has to be more pissed with every move. No way he can say it’s about winning now

Langdon was heavily into analytics and helped establish the GLeague and player development culture for Brooklyn.

He was Marks’s right hand man in Brooklyn and was considered instrumental in their rebuild and one of the up and coming FO guys in the league. He interviewed for GM jobs with the Pels and other teams.

This coupled with stealing Nelson from Phoenix is pretty damn amazing.

The pride of Anchorage, AK aka the Alaskan Assassin. I think he won a free throw contest while at Duke.
