Armstead graded out at a +2.6 on PFF. He did about as good as you can from a 3-4 DE. Balducci at NT graded out positively on runs.
In the championship game or the season?

In the championship game. Buckner graded out at a -2.5 and Balducci at -1.2 (due to passing situations). NT rarely grade out on PFF very high and that's actually a good grade. The problem was Buckner playing 82 snaps. He just wore the frick out. Talia and Kamp were in over their heads and for some reason Daniel didn't participate. It was our shallowest rotation of the season.

Completely unrelated but Chuckie Keaton just received a sixth year and some rumors have him transferring to Oregon State...

Pac 12 is getting better everyday. Maybe Hobbs will get to play?

They reevaluated and there are changes coming. We are going to multiple fronts now.
I feel like we have been hearing this for years about the Ducks getting better up front.

They were supposed to suffocate LSUs run game in 2011 because they finally got a defensive tackle that weighs 300 pounds

Oregon is also moving players from offense to defense, per Helfrich on NSD. They simply need to get better.
That means you don't recruit well on defense

We are recruiting versatile athletes and crosstraining. Helfrich said db coach Neal is getting his hooks in Kirk Merritt. Staff has been putting a concerted effort to improve that side of the ball and it is improving. We have more wins than just about any other program since 2011.

No, Honestly it means we need a deep rotation on defense due to the number of plays they face and have a glut of players at skill positions on offense than are more than capable of switching positions.

Yeah also what Bison said...

Ohio St. likes that DLine of Oregon. They were impressed.

Rumor is that he will start in spring...we are on the quarter system out here in the west.
Not that I doubt what you're saying, but do you have a link saying that anywhere? Everywhere I've read said that he still hasn't graduated yet, and will have to wait until Summer, even with Oregon's quarter system.

Due to passing situations?
Elliott had 246 fricking yards rushing!
Oregon got beaten up. Elite athleticism my arse. The elite athleticism in that game was on the Ohio State side of the line of scrimmage. Jesus H. Christ. You effectively won the turnover battle 4-0 and still lost by three touchdowns. The only positive coming out of that game is that to compete with the truly elite teams Oregon has to get a lot better.
It's the same old story every time and the same line from Oregon fans. Oh, in 2016 we'll push teams around.

That's some funny shite right there.

How can a kid named Vernon play outside of the SEC?
Posted on 2/10/15 at 9:29 am to VABuckeye
Balducci graded out positively on runs. That means he did his job against the run.
Posted on 2/10/15 at 9:31 am to mm2316
He is coming on June 13th. Rumor was wrong.
Posted on 2/10/15 at 9:31 am to bisonduck
You need a different grading system then.

It was pro football focus. Elliott probably had 2/3 of his yards with Talia and Kamp in.
