Good for him. He made it to the Super Bowl. Dianna Russini threw herself at him. Life has not changed much since high school.

We're not talking about any of that in this thread.

Were talking about the standing ovation he received.

People overlook all sorts of deviant behaviors on behalf of their tribe, particularly when things are going well.

They were in the Super Bowl last year. If he starts losing, suddenly his infidelities will become a bigger deal.

It was on-topic. A fanbase isn't going to be pissed if a coach (or player) is fricking around outside his relationship.

Not a good look but fans don't really know Vrabel outside of being the team's coach, and if anything a minority of people will be angry about it. If he was another team's coach he'd get booed, but to them it's "he's our guy".

I never said they need to. I wouldn't do it. They are obviously willing to look past his frick-ups and ignore it since he got the team to the SB.

Again, it wasn't that he cheated. It was him shitting out a player for 'embarrassing the organization'. While he did the same thing.

Also, fans giving him a standing O doesn't mean he won't have problems in the locker room.

We) certainly want to make sure that they understand that their actions represent something more than just themselves," Vrabel added. "And so I do think there’s a line. We’re always talking about those kinds of things. We’re trying to educate them, no different than myself or you guys or my kids."

Yet, we constantly put certain people who cheat or have cheated on their significant others on pedestals, and turn a blind eye to it, and have for centuries.

This is what’s weird. They are acting like Vrabel has cancer or something

HE CHOSE TO CHEAT ON HIS WIFE FOR 6 YEARS and ruin his family

Just say “we are ready to get back to football” or some generic shite. But making him out to be this poor victim is weird and not necessary

Yeah, no other coach has ever cheated on his wife, lied about it and got caught and then continued coaching.

Yeah he is kind of a dumb arse and arrogant, but what NFL or college head coach isn't? Very few.

They all continue to coach.

Not sure how Maye's statement reads any other way than him being supportive of his coach. I don't know what cancer has to do with anything.

I mean you really don’t need to be that “supportive” of someone who has been cheating on his wife for 6 years do you ? what are you supporting? His cock?

That’s the point. He isn’t a victim. Don’t want to fire him? Fine, we all get it. But he doesn’t need moral support for fricking a whore and cheating on his wife for half a decade

It was the same things as the chiefs doing the below

We get it, it’s the nfl. Being a piece of shite allows you to still play and coach. But you look a little looney when you make a hero or victim out of the a-hole
