I've gone to hundreds of college games through the years and have only seen two fights and both happened while tailgating. I guess the pro's bring a different element

They have taken so much aggression and violence out of the game with the “player safety” rules that the fans have to compensate for it. Sad times ahead.

I've been to probably 10 NFL games including being an away fan in NY for both the Giants and Jets and at Philly. Also been a neutral fan in Detroit and a handful of falcons games in Atlanta
The only fights I've seen were at a Jets-Giants PRESEASON game. Saw like 5 in an evening. Blew my mind

Fans fighting in the stands at professional sporting events is as traditional as the the Cowboys wearing white jerseys for home games.
