Surma did a great job IMO. Handled all the questions with confidence and authority. Dude looked in control the whole time which is more than anyone at PSU can say recently.

It may sound like im defending him, but im not. I think he should have been out as coach, but I dont like the way psu handled it. I think there are more people involved and that knew in order to cover it up. They need to go with JoePa. All the focus is on him.

Not to be a dick, but how long do you think Joe Pa will live with all this on top of not being able to coach.

How do you know they aren't? How do you know house will not be cleaned? The Paterno firing probably has to do with the fact there is a game in two more days.

Did you also stop to think maybe the board has more information than you?? It could be that JoPa is more involved with this than you or I know.

All i'm saying if he would have went direclty to the cops at that very moment, it would have been very he said she said., and something i can see the brass and all the higher ups standing up for the guy for.
Man, you're weak.

If local cops cover it up, if you really gave a damn about seeing a child getting raped, call the local FBI office. They don't give a frick.

The ginger admitted that the kid and Sandusky saw him.

Saw this on a political forum:

quote:

This will be like a death in my family. Rural PA took much of their identity from JoePa and Penn State. They always held their heads up because they might be never-graduated coal miners but they were also Penn State.

Surma was a boss.

I'll admit I take great pleasure in Paterno being dictated to, and that his little preemptive statement had no effect.

I'm fully convinced that this entire thing rests squarely at his feet.
