If what I was told tonight about the details of the new allegation in Sandusky child sex case is true, it will horrify the public.
I'm glad Brooks is full of shite 99% of the time. I really don't want this to get worse.

I hope this is not what it is but it sounds like this could possibly turn out to be some type of sex slave ring or something to that effect.

Admittedly, he does come across as senile a lot of the time.
He is senile, I don't think he was in 2002. But if he was, then he shouldn't have been a authority figure then. The whole administration dropped the ball.

Joe should sue! I thought this was America. Innocent until PROVEN guilty
My reasonable doubt disappeared on page 7 of the grand jury report... where it says Paterno "reported that the graduate assistant had seen Jerry Sandusky in the Lasch Building showers fondling or doing something of a sexual nature to a young boy."
Don't even get me started about the meeting between McQueary, Curley, and Schultz. Paterno should have been there in support of his graduate assistant. The meeting should be documented, with witnesses, if not lawyers. And I have a feeling that Paterno is still not legally out of the woods yet... there's still a possibility that investigators will discover new information that contradicts his testimony.

He did seem a bit jubilant considering there are riots breaking out in his name. He isn't doing himself any favors with that display. Geez...he may be senile.

The Board of Trustees would probably argue that they deserved at least a phone call from Paterno, before he decided to arrogantly choose his retirement date this past morning.

Joe should have retired 10+ years ago. He has become senile and brought the program down by staying.

Not really. He created the mess and the bot was forced to respond the best it could. He was not exactly being cooperative and his lack of cooperation is partially to blame for the students who are currently blackening psu's other eye.

Horse shite on this point, many of them knew in '98 and 2002 when he did if I had to bet. If not they knew when the investigation started and when they all testified in January of this year. The BOT did what they needed to do (but waited until it absolutely had to be done) and some of them are also to blame.

JoePa is senile. He's in left field. He has, it appears, no understanding of what is happening.

This is by far the worst riot coverage I've ever seen.

I agree that joepa brought all of this down on himself but is visiting the man who has been the face of your school for 62 years to tell him he's fired too much to ask? He needed to go and he needed to go a long time ago but the decent thing for penn state to do would be to do it in person. Whether joe has any decency or not doesn't matter thefricking university should take the high road imo

I doubt many, if any, on the board had knowledge. Just from my understanding of how bot's work. Could be wrong though.

I'm not saying they're blameless. I'm just enjoying the fact that all of these people are basically trying to scapegoat each other.
It's pretty obvious to me that McQueary broke ranks with the "established story" during the grand jury testimony. Otherwise, the vice president and athletic director wouldn't be facing perjury charges right now.

Apparently ESPN doesn't have any camera's there. They just have Stuart Scott talking over still pictures.
