I see all sorts of patches on, online, letterman jackets, the only ones we’ve gotten from school are the State or District championship ones.

What about All-District or 1st Team All-State Offense awards?

Just trying to collect everything we need before finding someone to sew them all on.

What about the little bars denoting years of lettering in the different sports.

Who talks to high school football coach? He’s taken another job, but I assume he’ll be here for the next two days to finish out the semester.

When I was in school the only patches you had were whatever the school decided to give you.

If you’re a student talk to your coach

If you’re a parent you need to take a backseat.

He’s a parent, he posts probably 2 threads a week about his son who is a soccer star, kicks for the football team, and is a walk on for the high school baseball team as a base running superstar

Get to know him because this happens at least twice a week

He quit soccer…but he does have a big patch I have to get put on from it.

Will be interesting to see if he letters in baseball, but I’m not waiting for that.

Jostens or whoever does the jacket orders comes twice a year and you can order the patches you need. At least that's how it was 15 years ago

I got on their website and saw the custom patches…I get the feeling they do not visit my son’s small school though.

Two things you will never wear again after you get your diploma:
Class rings
High school letterman jacket

This too. I got a letterman jacket but told my parents I didn't want a class ring. They ended up getting me one when I graduated from LSU instead

My parents bought me an RC car when I graduated LSU. Thing was awesome. Still have it actually, just lost all the running gear in Katrina.
