Stephen Jones in charge of football operations and has been since Parcells left. Jerry is in name only.
He moved out of ads to football and his sister took over the ads and marketing.

@WillBrinson: Oh boy RT @BryanBroaddus: Garrett just said Romo changed the play on the last interception...should have been a run call.

Cowboys angling for a better draft pick to overpay on.

The entire coaching staff needs to be fired, romo needs to be cut, and every pick in the draft needs to be used on secondary players after taking a qb with the first pick. And some needs to tell jerry jones to hire a goddamn general manager already.
So glad this was an out of market game for me. Might have throw. The remote through the tv if I had sat around and watched another abortion of a game the Cowboys have been turning in

Garrett is the only coach who abandons the run when he is getting 10 points per clip and winning

The Cowboys passed on Eddie Lacy in the draft for Gavin Escobar. If it were the 90's and he was Pablo I'd understand.

Told yall the Cowboys would blow this

Romo does deserve his fair share of the blame, but the idiots who hate on Romo just because it's the cool thing to do will act like it's all on him.
Wow, you are really in denial. Romo threw the ball on a called run play against everybody's better judgement. He does this stuff every single year. Whether he is surrounded with a decent team or a crappy team, he does this every single year in December. It does not make someone an "idiot" for marveling at this extraordinary run of ineptitude. I don't hate Romo or trash him because it is cool. I am just stunned. I grew up a Cowboy fan and watched my first game when Eddie LeBaron was the QB. So, I have seen good times and bad. This is unprecedented in team history. To have late season collapses year after year is just amazing. It is just something, like Navy beating Army twelve years in a row, that makes a thinking sports fan ask, "what is going on here?"

When a team chokes away a 23 point lead, there is no "sole" blame
Interesting that one player, Romo, is getting all the blame, yet the defence gives up five TDs in one half to a team with a quarterback that has been cut by three different teams.
I'm not defending Romo, but it was a team collapse not just one player. That is an organization problem.

Defense definitely shares the blame, along with coaches for not running the ball in the second half more.
But the two most critical plays in the game are 100% on Romo.
First, you check out of a run play and only the WR is aware, thus your protection package isn't there and blocking is all run. Then you rush the throw and get picked.
Then, on the second interception, he misreads the outside corner, and throws the sideline route instead of the sit down that the WR correctly ran.

If Romo hands the ball off instead of changing the play to pass, we are not even having this conversation. Crappy defense or not, they had the game won if they just run the ball.

Any chance Flynn plays himself into another nice contract next year?
