What the Pac 10 is going to get per school for its primary rights isn't that much more than the deal Texas signed just for its 3rd party rights......kind of sad......

“It makes no sense economically,” according to one industry analyst. “It’s all about Fox’ national push with FX and subscriber fees. But it’s good for the Pac-12.”

this is what i figured

Fox trying to create a new market

it may work, but it seems like it will end up more like NHL on Fox years back

I could be mistaken but I heard talk of getting those "Olympic Sports" from the PAC 12 more exposure as part of this new network's programming.

does anyone really watch olympic sports when the olympics are not on?

we're talking water polo? what else in particular?

personally I'd be more likely to watch nerds jousting than water polo

fCigarLovingTiger, Dedeaux was a Louisana born USC badass, and therefore his era will always be relevant, as will his 11 Championships.

Unfortunately, USC baseball IMHO, won't be relevant unless and until the players can be issued full scholarships again. The school tuition is simply too expensive when compared with other decent baseball schools in SoCal like CS Fullerton, CS LongBeach, or [puke]the bRuins[/puke].
