While many will champion Deion for an amazing turnaround of a team that only won 1 game last year, they act as if his 4 wins this year was some impossible task. That ignores that CU won 4 or 5 games every year from 2017-2021 under three different coaches.

In that time they averaged 4.6 wins to be exact. Even if you throw in last years 1-11 season, the average is exactly 4 wins per year.

Deion has done literally nothing.

Called this collapse even when they were 3-0. They didn’t look good and their schedule was backloaded. All flash, no substance. Said they would finish 6-6 at best.

The shine has worn off of Deion.

I would argue that they are worse under Sanders than the last few tears.

The Colorado football program has become literally an embarrassing circus with an unqualified directionless narcissistic leader.

The top recruits will NOT want to play there, and he will struggle to hire competent assistants who will actually be doing the coaching while HE takes the credit if by chance there is any success.

Who are these people? Where do they exist except as straw men in threads like these? The only people still talking about Colorado are people bitching about people talking about Colorado. The rest of the college football world has long since moved on. I’d advise you do the same.

I think winning 4 games is a better spot than winning 1.

He was clearly over hyped but they did manage to just barely exceed preseason expectation of two or three wins.

Hot Carl the Deion Defender.

Now that it’s shown Prime sucks, he wants everyone to “move on”

His move to demote his OC mid season when the offense was the best part of the team will be his biggest undoing. As you said, what good assistant coach is going to leave a good situation to join his circus.

Their 4 wins are also against 4-6 TCU, 5-5 Nebraska, 4-6 CSU, and 3-7 ASU - 3 of which they had to pull out of their arse to get.

They're basically having South Carolina's season but with a lot more hype.

You would think that Deion was a co conspirator with Osama Bin Laden on 9/11 the way some posters on this board hate him

You lectured me about a post critical of Deion earlier this season.

I would be very shocked any competent assistants stay or come after that Sean Lewis crap for sure. He showed he doesn’t care about winning. Shedeur looked bad because of the OL Sanders recruited and instead of blaming himself he demoted arguably the best coach on his staff. Lewis will pop up next year at a P5 OC and kill it I’d bet.

And demotes coaches, throws people under the bus and encourages undisciplined overly-aggressive ball hawking that gets the team penalized over and over

He invited it with he and his team’s sound bites early this season. He begs for attention. Can’t relish in it when they win a couple games and then wonder why people give it right back when they lose 7 of their last 8
