The 85 Bears werent really known for their offense though. I think if the Buckeyes had 7 first rounders terrorizing QB's on defense the comp would be more on point.

I look at the Buckeyes more like those "Greatest Show on Turf" Rams teams with all that offense, and that they both should win alot more than they did with what they had.

Kind of rooting for Utah in Big12 & Oregon in Big10.

Would love to see Oregon come in & knock out Ohio State & Michigan year 1.

Watching the downfall of Florida & Colorado

I’m looking forward to Michigan and Ohio State and Bama and Georgia playing 3 times in the same season soon. Might not happen this year, but it will most certainly happen. And when all these “sexy” matchups that expanded playoff proponents point to about the awesomeness of it start matching up on the reg, how quickly that novelty will wear off and it will greatly reduce the excitement of individual regular season games and become the NFL, only with more inferior players and coaches who practice a lot less. The NFL model with a much inferior product. Can’t wait.

Nebraska. Will they finally start turning things around? They have some legit talent.

Have you seen their first 7 opponents? They should be 7-0 when they meet Ohio State.

UTEP, Colorado, Northern Iowa, Illinois, Purdue, Rutgers, Indiana

Not this season.

This defense should be really good/maybe the best OSU defense ever. I know that's a huge stretch of course but the talent and experience should be there

Along the front, return 2 3rd year DEs who were top 5 composite players, along with 2/3 of the DTs who played the most snaps last season. Also have experienced depth and talent there.

LB - lost both "starters" but the 3rd guy played a ton of snaps and the other LB we are starting was a starting safety last year so has experience

S - Ransom and Downs should be a top 3 safety unit
Corner - Return all 3 starters last season from a really good unit

Offense I think is going to be a bit slower tempo. I expect it to be a good unit, but there isn't a trigger guy back there who is going to put up Heisman numbers likely. Really top level skill guys, but the OL is a bit of a question mark as is the QB honestly

UNC. I’d like them to somehow figure out how to be a factor in the ACC. With Maye leaving, the QB battle will be interesting to see.

Auburn. See how year number 2 goes for Mr. Freeze. I could see them being better than people expect.

LSU, Alabama without Saban, and can Ohio State live up to the hype?

With Chip Kelly running it?

I think maybe slower tempo should have been run oriented, which may lead to running less plays. He may not run those plays at a slow tempo.

I think OSU should be a good running outfit this year, and knowing he has a good defense, even Chip may slow down a bit

Interested to see how the new Big 12 shakes out this year, specifically for me and the Mrs, how Baylor will look this year with Aranda on the hot seat.

Also having lived in central Texas for the past 5 years, and immersed in the big brother little brother relationship UT and A&M fans have with each other, I'm really intrigued to see that game revitalized on the gridiron.

I enjoy watching elite defenses, so Notre Dame, because they’ll field a top 5 defense. That DL and Secondary will be elite
