Read my link. Me and you fricked up and likely were part of an internet lynch mob against an innocent kid
I feel pretty bad honestly about my behavior
Nothing in that article is more than he said she said. You're just getting the family's spin on the story. Polygraph testing is pseudo science. I wouldn't put any stock at all in it.
Notice the article points out his brother was the one who went to police?

He faced 40 weeks in juvie if convicted had he not pleded guilty. That's worth fighting IMO if I'm 100% innocent.
It is your words vs a 6 year olds. There is no way to truly prove yourself innocent. It will come up to the jury and their emotions.

Get back to me when his brother backs him up.

The other side has a child who reported abuse, her parents who went to the authorities, and a guilty plea

Fact is, we all lynch mobbed this guy bases on basically no info

As much as inadmissible polygraph tests? If his brother backs him up consider me a believer, but not until then.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't he plead guilty?

Wrong. Read the article. His brother was the one who initially went to police with the information.
This crazed ex-wife scenario is the family's spin on the story.
Do you not see you're doing the exact same thing you did the first time around? Impressionable much?

Explain to me how he had any shot in hell of beating this charge even if innocent though?
His accuser cant be brought to court
It his him vs the emotions of the jury.
Also, I do understand his parents point in all this.
They love their son, but they love their grandaughter too. What the frick are they supposed to advise here?
If the newspaper doesnt incorrectly report info, this would have been buried for all involved

I ask in seriousness here. If he was innocent, how in the blue hell could he have beat this charge?

I'm guessing the sister in law gave the brother an ultimatum in this case.

Yup

Yes, he did.
Ok, so there is some info.

If I'm told I could get a whole whopping 40 weeks in a state that doesn't have room for me I'm going down with a fight.
At least I can stand up and say I had no chance of beating an emotional jury and plead not guilty and maintained my innocence throughout the trial and the rest of my life.
Nope....he plead guilty.

There's all sorts of scenarios that could have played out. I have a hard time believing the brother would destroy his younger brother to appease his ex-wife. He's not being accused of shoplifting here.

Also against the advice of an attorney who knows how you have very little shot to beat the charge due to you simply figting the words of a 6 year old who cant even be cross examined
All the while potentially dragging this out with your niece who is completely innocent in this likely no matter what
People always talk a hard game on here. He was 15. He was going to listen to his attorney

I am sure the ex-wife convinced him this was happeneing
The question is who is telling the truth, the ex wife or Luke Heimlich
I actually think the fact the brother still talks and has a good relationship with his parents, who maintain lukes innocence, actually shows who the brother believes now
The article only says the relationship is strained with the brothers
Of course it is strained, likely from BOTH sides

Also, not that this means much, but it means something to me, Heimlich has absolutely convinced his teammates he is innocent.

Hey guys, without me we could've won it all last year. I'm innocent, let's go win.
Sorry, not sorry. I'd say he can eat a dick but doesn't swing that way.
