Yeah, USC had 140 yards more offense and 10 more 1st downs.
Yeah. USC’s 4 first downs in that last 17 play, 53 yard drive in 6 minutes and 9 seconds to seal the game was almost better than running the clock on offense.

WTF is up with this Allison Williams chick? Is she trying to replace Tom Rinaldi? “What does it mean to you..... Describe the emotions you are feeling right now ......How do you feel about....”

She sounds like a group therapist not a sideline reporter

Maybe I missed it post game, but with the way oline play and the questionable coaching staff, why would he come back after this game?

loweralabamatrojan,

Thanks when Darnold did have time to throw, he made some great ones. Also, your RB, Jones is a stud.

tOSU's D was really good. I'm glad USC's D kept a clean sheet in the second half. It would have been easy for them to just mail it in, but they shut tOSU's offense down.

The turnovers and tOSU's D were just too much to overcome in the end.

As well as the Buckeye D played, I think our O-line looked terrible.

Also, shout out to the SEC refs. They weren't great, misssed a few obvious calls, but they were nowhere near as bad as PAC 12 refs were all season. Enjoy watching them absolutely phuck up the Sugar Bowl.

Yea but so is Helton and Martin, so that easily offsets the presence of Darnold.

You could argue that Helton has guided SC to two successful seasons and 2 consecutive NY6 bowl appearances, and even won one of them, but if your ambitions (as SC's are) are the CFP, he's not getting it done.

The problem is, who do you replace Helton with? What kind of coach that's available now (or even available to steal) could come in and have an immediate impact for the better?

The Helton hiring was awful. The timing was bad (too early) and there was no search. Only lsu’s hiring of Oregon was worse.

I’m not saying usc fires him now, because he hasn’t been bad enough on paper to get fired; as you said, they’re winning 10 games and making ny6 bowls. He’ll just never lead them to the cfp, and he’s not a championship coach. It was a horrible hire.
