Freedom of Speech means you can't get arrested for something that you say... If you have someone promoting a bad image as part of a brand, yes you are liable to be fired.

I'm not talking about legally. It's the principle of the thing.

This is America, but he has a boss and a brand to appeal to. He should be fired.

Yes he's hurting the NBA Brand. He's blatantly racist with a whole squad of African Americans. Mainstream America is finally taking notice, and people aren't going to tolerate it.

Story isn't even on ESPN.com.

How long can the mothership ignore this one?

How long did they ignore the Reggie Bush story?

But seriously, ESPN is busy trying to invent 10 new storylines involving the New York Knicks right now.

You really believe its in the best interest for the NBA to have an owner saying he doesn't want black people at NBA games?

We already know that ESPN knew Manti Te'o was a fraud a week before the BCSCG, and Deadspin had to shame them into reporting it. And when they finally did, they helped him cover it up and manufacture the lie.

Right now ESPN is waiting for marching orders and talking points from Adam Silver before they report on it.

ESPN is in the business of making money. I'm not sure why people bitch about their programming, they know what they're doing over there.

Am I the only person who has no problem with what he said? The guy may be prejudiced but it's not like he called them the n word or something derogatory. People can be just as ignorant as they choose to be.

And screw that girl for recording a private conversation.
