I don't think the players who are left over after every FBS school in America rummages through the program deserve to lose 88-7 to Ohio State--no.
You can't tell the coaches to prepare for a season and then have every starter leave the program less than a month before the season starts.
Thank you. This is what I have been getting at.

Thank you Genro and graychef. Even though you have both been gigantic douches when I am looking for answers, you still linked me to an answer.

The coaches will be granted leniency in this situation. Years of it.

Yet you start a thread, act like you have all the answers, argue with everyone that disagrees with you, and pretty much acting like a douche.

Or, since you already know everything, you can frick off and let me research this and save yourself some unnecessary internet drama that you helped cause, frickstick.

Then extend punishments to include benefits from cheating boosters. It is not a hard concept to wrap your head around.
How are you going to punish them after they've left the school and aren't involved with the NCAA any more? The athlete's have gone pro and the booster is now just an independent businessman in Bama. The NCAA can't do a damn thing to them. So who will they extend punishment to? That's right, the football team. It's the only recourse even though it isn't a perfect solution.

You asked a question. I responded with an answer. You then go into an argument without having all the information in hand. I respond with evidence.
If that makes me a gigantic douche,
Otherwise,

Or you could have educated yourself before coming in here and acting like you had some original thought when you didn't even know anything about the situation. There is a reason no one agreed with you.

Who said all of the starters are leaving? Do you have a link for that? None of the starters are being forced to leave which I think you are having a hard time grasping. These are grown men, yet you act like they are infants that can't make a decision for themselves and are being forced to leave PSU.
If they have some guys leave and are that shitty that they lose to Ohio State 88-7 as you say then oh well, that is their problem. Saying they shouldn't be punished so that they can spare the team from being beaten is ignorant beyond comprehension.

All of this was about justification of the punishments IN MY OPINION. And as I was saying, I haven't been pissy this entire time, I just want to understand why this type or style of punishment is ok and justifiable. I couldn't find a reason, so I was wondering if anyone could provide insight. You are a pretty big douche as well. Hell, I wasn't even trying to stir anything up, just stating why I didn't think they were justified.

I thought you weren't "mad like everyone else" bro?
Maybe you should have done your research before you came on here telling people they were wrong dipshite.

It's how you presented the evidence, you cock. Not the fact that you had evidence.

What about the ones who grew up knowing the only thing they wanted to do was play at Penn St.? And another angle on it is that they have a decision forced on them that is unnecessary. Also, just because the coaches took a job knowing that sanctions were likely does not mean that those same sanctions are justified. Only a select few people were involved with the cover up, why do their actions have to affect people that had nothing to do with it? And to the arse that said I didn't read a single thread, . Not all of us are on here 24 hrs. a fricking day you raging count.
This was your first response

Then why would you think I was an alter for one of those other douches? I just honestly want to understand this whole thing. People are getting all bent out of shape for no reason.
