For some weird reason they had this game on replay at a sushi bar I was eating at a few months back.

Ah, I miss Scully. I had the pleasure of catching him on many Dodgers games in 2003-2004.

I remember being so pissed that they were going to drop this game because they came in the night like half a game behind San Diego for the division and I was in the middle of turning it off until Kent's homer made me wait and watch

The ONLY thing I ever liked about the Dodgers, he was the GOAT.

Things like this are why I loved baseball growing up. Random, sleepy game on some random sleepy weeknight, and some crazy shite happens.

What a career he had. It’s a shame no national network picked him up after he left NBC in 1989. How awesome would it have been for Buck do one of the LCS and Scully the other for CBS in 1990?
