You’d have been assured anywhere he’s the best coach in the country. Until the last few months at least. Cignetti is making the argument for sure. My point was faking a punt isn’t exactly “sitting on a lead”. But go ahead and make this about some butthurt SEC/Big Ten thing somehow

I agree. But they would not be in the playoffs if he didnt coach them the last 6 years. This roster they have would not be assembled if not for him. Hate him all you want, and I agree it probably kills him to not be on the sidelines with them right now. But to try to suggest they're better off without him is just cope.
