Expect to see more of @KeithOlbermann on ESPN. The two signed a deal that will expand his role with the company. Story coming in Sports Business Daily.

Olbermann will host around 20 of the 11pm “SportsCenters” through the end of the year. He also will do play-by-play for a handful of baseball games on both linear TV and radio.

I don't see why they add ppl like him and keep folks like Katie Nolan & Will Reeves sidelined (Yes, I know Nolan has a podcast).

He was good back in the day. Is there any way he could go back to that?

Exactly.

ESPN:

SC6 didn't work out. Now let's go get someone even more polarizing and far left than those two!

He's a bit cringe worthy on twitter. I just think ESPN should be getting younger with its anchors. Not recycling dudes who need work.

Gotcha. Yeah, I agree. It really is amazing how ESPN screws up all these things.

When he stuck to sports he was a legend. Dude has talent in that offering. Hope he can focus on that. We'll see though haha.

It's just weird that they're going back to him again... I mean they just tried this four years ago and it didn't work.

I thought Olbermann had some bad things to say about ESPN after he left?

Maybe someone else?

Olbermann is truly at his best doing sports, but even if he wasn't unhinged and notoriously difficult to work with, I don't see how he moves the needle with ESPN's audience these days. His peak was nearly 25 years ago.

Great.

He's a wonderful baseball story teller.

This will no doubt help them gain back viewers. Hopefully he'll start injecting his political opinions as soon as he can.
