Classy move by OSU but let's not just ourselves; it's a form letter with either an autopen signature or a signature graphic that printed as the letter printed.

Day lost his father to suicide so think there is a chance this is real at least.

My initial thought was in agreement with yours though. Sad when we think the negative first

It’s on Ohio State letterhead, mentions Ohio State twice at the beginning of the letter, and signs off with a Go Bucks!

Maybe I’m an a-hole, but maybe a letter to sick kids should be a little less about Ohio State?

I bet the kids are thrilled to hear from the big dogs of the Big Ten

So Ryan Day didn't do the nice thing quite nice enough for your satisfaction?
It's like when someone donates money and then people complain that they should have donated more.
There's always a Karen that's going to complain no matter what you do.

When I was a kid I would've thought the letter was much cooler with all of the College Logo's on it than just a letter on a piece of paper.
Since you're a VOL I'm guessing your outrage has more to do with what Ryan Day did to your Vols in the playoffs.

Imagine if the Yankee’s manager wrote a letter to all the kids at a Boston children’s hospital and signed off with “Go Yankees!”

What a super nice thing to do!

Ohio State & Iowa aren't rivals like the Yankees & Red Sox, so your comparison makes no sense.

The kids in Boston would probably think it was cool to get an official letter from the Yankees.
They would probably have fun with the rivalry unless they were overly sensitive pussies like you
